An office with earthy colored walls and canonical interiors is very common around the world. Whether it is a small office or a big corporate house, it takes inspiration to work with efficiency. The office atmosphere is directly related to the appearance of the office. The more creative it is, the more productivity can be fetched. People in many countries have gone to an extent to create their unique offices in tree houses, garages, terraces and more. Big offices like Google have artistic and inspiring designs in many of the areas. For example Google has sliders and swings in their office for employees where they can work their way, they have cubicle shaped rest rooms that look like a lounge and have many facilities. Let us see the few places that people can change into an office without much ado.

SOHO in Garage: If you are starting your own office with a low capital, a garage can serve a great purpose of an office. A garage has wide empty space and gives you a right hand to mould it the way you want. Search for the many options available on the internet. Once you decide the design, consult an interior designer for better designs. If any repairing needs to be done, make arrangements accordingly and consult an architect. For a standard square shaped garage that needs to be turned into an office, start with the entry door. French doors are the best choice for a garage office as the light will directly come in your place. The French doors are mostly covered with glass panes and open outwards. As the garage might not have windows, make provision for ventilation. You might also need to add electric sockets and take care of the wiring for lighting and atmosphere controlling purposes. Enough lighting should be done and heating/cooling equipments should be installed too.

SOHO in Tree House: Fun with work is the latest management mantra. So if you are looking to start your own office in your house then why not choose a place that gives you a 360° view of your place. A place that is surrounded by nature, sea, lakes or wood is the best place for a tree-house. A tree house office would ask for protection from the living beings that already stay on the tree; meaning birds, insects, flies and more. Build and install a platform first, then the rest of the office. Guard the windows with mosquito net and repellents. Make arrangements for electricity, cooler and enough lights. Personalize the area by office posters and any awards and certificates. Utilizing a tree house for office purposes is best when you are working alone.

Office Café: The best part of working for self or being a freelancer is that you can work from wherever you want. There are so many cafés that offer free wi-fi and one can work for as longer as he/she wants.  There are also special cafés in many countries that are specially designed for people who want to work without any disturbances.
