Does anyone have what it takes to topple Google? Seems like an odd question to ask, however, Ladbrokes Bingo have sent us this excellent infographic on those who are best placed to give Google a bit of a knock. Typically we’d dismiss such thoughts, but they do raise an interesting point. Without any real competition, Google is not forced to innovate as they would if they were fighting for survival. It’s in our own interests, even if we don’t endorse them long term, to hope these smaller engines put up the best fight they can (they have some pretty unique selling points!). Even though it seems unlikely, if anyone does best Google it’ll be quite the show (plus, anyone who beats Google deserves your vote).
