More than ever before, WorldWide Partner Conference was a serious demo fest with lots of cool technology shown off during the keynotes. Silverlight, Photosyth, Seadragon, Surface and more. Hats off to the WPC folks for showing off our innovations to an audience that sometimes only really gets to see (and sell) our business software. I already have lots of interest from UK Partners on Silverlight and Surface in particular. We’ve seen Ewan McGregor draw a boat on a Microsoft Surface like table in The Island, and now it’s time to witness Tom Cruise breaking down as he watches a holographic image of his dead son. Yeah, the comparisons so far this year are numerous to future tech in movies. If the technology companies keep bringing this stuff out I have no intention of stopping the analogies.
