Three Paths to Free Online Goodies

The internet has opened a variety of avenues for the savvy consumer to obtain a variety of items on the cheap. Unfortunately, for every legitimate opportunity, there are at least two that are little more than frustrating, spam-filled cycles.

Participate in Online Surveys

Believe it or not, there are legitimate survey databases out there that will pay you to give your opinion, freebies365. However, any site that claims you can make a full-time income solely by using this tactic is being less than truthful. While it’s true that there are surveys out there paying $100 or more, the vast majority have little cash value and pay anywhere from $1-$5. Given how long it takes most people to complete these surveys, it is very difficult to earn an hourly wage that is liveable. Also, many websites attempt to charge you a fee to participate in their program. Stay away from this, as no legitimate company requires you to pay to take the surveys. What you actually end up paying for is a database that simply lists sites which you can find yourself.

Complete Offers

Many sites offer small amounts of cash for site users to participate in free trial offers through their websites. They can do this because they earn an affiliate commission that offsets their costs. In some cases, you may also earn virtual points that can be redeemed for online gift cards, coupons, or even electronics. You can also use these points to enter sweepstakes or raffles for even bigger prizes.

Some online programs offer high-end electronics in exchange for many program sign ups in a single sitting. In most cases, users must sign up and pay for at least 10 offers before the item (usually an iPad, iPhone, Laptop or some other electronic device) will be shipped. Be advised that while you are getting a great deal, this item is nowhere near free. In fact, you end up paying close to $120 in most cases for the offers. While this is a great deal, be sure you know this ahead of time before participating.

Affiliate Marketing

If you own a website, another popular option is to bring visitors and buyers to one of the many sites looking to boost traffic. In exchange, these companies often offer money or goods in exchange. While not for everyone, it’s an attractive option because it doesn’t require any additional work on your part after it’s set up.

Whatever your method of choice, be sure to verify a company’s credentials before giving out your personal contact details. Many users who use these methods complain that they are subject to email and postal spam. Protect yourself by only working with sites who show a rating from the Better Business Bureau or other consumer protection organization.
